Please see the below dates for the Karate New Zealand - National and Regional Referees Seminars and Examinations for Kata and Kumite in 2018.

Any KNZ National and Regional Referee or Judge who want to upgrade their qualifications can participate only once a year.

1. National Kumite Seminar,  Exam & Renewals
   Who can participate: Only those going for National Kumite Referee and Judge qualification
   Date: 20th April
   Time: 2.00-6.00 pm
   Location: Pioneer Stadium, Christchurch
   
   
2. Canterbury Westland & Otago Southland - Kata & Kumite Seminar, Exams & Renewals
   Who can participate: For South Island Regional Referees and Judges
   Date: 20th April
   Time: 2.00-6.00 pm
   Location: Pioneer Stadium, Christchurch
   
   
3. Auckland, Northland, CNI - Kata & Kumite Seminar, Exam & Renewals
   Who canparticipate: For Auckland, Northland and Central North Island Regional Referees and Judges
   Date: 5th May,
   Time: 3.00-6.00 pm
   Location: Auckland (venue to be confirmed
   
   
4. National Kata Seminar,  Exam and Renewals 
   Who can participate: Only those upgrading for National Kata Judge Qualification
   Date: 13th July
   Time: 2.00-6.00 pm 
   Location: Ishinryu Dojo, Lower Hut, Wellington
   
   
5. LNI & Otago Southland - Kata & Kumite Seminar, Exam & Renewals
   Who can participate: For Lower North Island and Otago Southland Regional Referees and Judges
   Date: 13th July
   Time: 2.00-6.00 pm
   Location: Ishinryu Dojo, Lower Hut, Wellington
