Scarlett trains at JKF Goju-Kai in Christchurch.

Every story is unique, this is her story:

Scarlett is a committed karate-ka who trains multiple times a week. She also plays football, coaches younger karate athletes, and goes to the gym.

Scarlett has won national medals at various Karate New Zealand tournaments from a young age and continues to compete at a high level.

She loves the feeling of being on the mat & encourages young girls who are nervous about starting a new sport to just give it a go because our karate community is a family and everyone is super friendly!
