Congratulations to the entire team for their outstanding contribution to the future of New Zealand Karate!

We are incredibly proud of the team's growth and achievements, particularly the two impressive fifth-place finishes in the Male Cadet & Junior Team Kata (Jeremiah, Josiah, and Richard) and Jens' performance in the Male Cadet Individual Kata. Josiah also excelled, advancing through several rounds in the Male Junior Individual Kata.

To the rest of the team—Alex, Beau, Brooke, Chloe, Ethan, Kate, Lilli, Milu, Nicole, Logan, Parish, Reo, Sam, Tomoya, and Yamato—although the results may not have gone your way this time, the friendships forged, the experience gained—the honour of representing New Zealand on the international stage is victory in its own right.

We'd like to express our heartfelt thanks to the coaches and team management for their dedication and to the parents who provided unwavering support to all the team members. Kia kaha—we are incredibly proud of every one of you.
