2025 KNZ January National Training Camp – Athlete Registration


Kick off the 2025 season with the first KNZ National Training Camp, happening in Auckland on Saturday, 25 January, and Sunday, 26 January 2025

Venue:  Barfoot & Thompson Netball Centre (Netball North Harbour), 44 Northcote Road, Northcote, Auckland 0627

Tentative Camp Program:

I've included a tentative camp timetable. As you know, this schedule is indicative and subject to change based on various factors. We’ll keep you informed of any needed adjustments. Kindly note that Monday is exclusively designated for Cadets (14-15 years), Juniors (16-17 years), U21 (18-20 years), and Senior athletes aspiring to be considered for New Zealand representation, including the 2025 Oceania Championships. Participants who fall outside these specified age categories will not be eligible to attend on Monday. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in adhering to these guidelines.

Camp Schedule:

  • Saturday, 25 January: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM

  • Sunday, 26 January: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Note: Athletes aged 14 and older who wish to be considered for the 2025 Oceania Championships must attend the third training day. This includes those aiming for selection in the National Athlete Pool as Cadets (14-15 years), Juniors (16-17 years), or Senior/U21 divisions for New Zealand team selection and representation.

  • Monday, 27 January: 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM

Who Can Attend?

The camp focuses on two key areas:

  • Kumite: Improve point-scoring strategies and refine competitive tactics.

  • Kata: Work on stances, movement, transitions, and proper breathing with personalised feedback.

The camp welcomes athletes aged 6 years and older, accommodating everyone from recreational participants to those aspiring to represent NZ. Its focus is on skill development and preparing attendees for peak performance.
