Kia ora athletes, parents, caregivers, sensei, and coaches,

We are still waiting for the official Bulletin for the 2025 Oceania Championships and Cup, which will provide more details. The proposed dates for the competitions are Friday, June 6th, to Sunday, June 8th, and they are scheduled to be hosted in New Caledonia. In the meantime, we are collecting club nominations as the first step in the selection process. At this stage, nominating an athlete does not guarantee selection—it is simply to gather details about the athlete for consideration.

For athletes in the 10-11 and 12-13 age groups who are competing in the Premier division for competitions, we ask that parents or caregivers complete the nomination using the Google Form linked. Veteran athletes can fill out the form themselves.

Potential nominees will have been contacted by their sensei and club coach(es), who will discuss the required commitment. We look forward to the 10-11 and 12-13 year olds competing at the Auckland and Christchurch regional competitions in March.

Athletes must be New Zealand residents to qualify for the Oceania Cup selection. When you submit your nomination, please include a screenshot of the athlete’s passport in the relevant section of the form. This enables us to verify birthdates and ensure that names are recorded accurately. The passport must be valid for six months beyond your stay in New Caledonia.
