Congratulations to those that have been selected, and thank you to all athletes who were part of the selection process.

The selectors were given strict instructions to only select those who they were confident would have a chance of gaining a medal at the championships. This has meant that the bar has been set very high this year, not only by the directive to the selectors, but by the quality of athletes within Karate New Zealand. The Selectors, the Executive Board, and the Coaches are all confident that the athletes selected will do everything possible to ensure they return with a medal.

Best Regards,
